The project

Digital fan experiences for sports clubs. We build applications for sports clubs that elevate the fan experience beyond match day on a digital level, creating a stronger bond between fans and their club. This is achieved through innovative gamification approaches such as digital collectible cards based on NFT/blockchain technology. The key lies in extremely easy accessibility for users through an exceptionally simple-to-use app – making blockchain accessible to a broad audience for the first time.

Objectives

The project aims to develop an exceptionally easy-to-use app that offers fans digital experiences beyond match day – such as digital collectible cards based on NFT/blockchain technology and playful gamification elements. The technology is designed to be accessible to a broad audience without technical barriers, strengthening the bond and identification between fans and their club. The goals are to bring the solution to market with sports clubs and to scale it across different sports and leagues.

Results

The funding enabled a market-ready, exceptionally low-barrier app that makes digital collectible cards and gamification usable in everyday fan life. The solution is already in use at 15 clubs across 6 sports and 8 leagues. This makes blockchain technology accessible to a broad fan base without prior knowledge for the first time.
